Mediation in Greece: An Alternative Method of Dispute Resolution

As reducing court congestion and enhancing the quality of the administration of Justice continue to constitute major priorities, the present study, authored by an extensive team of judges, academics and representatives of institutional bodies, seeks to highlight alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and, in particular, mediation -a process that has long been firmly established within the international community. It also presents international best practices that may contribute to broadening its still limited application in Greece.
