Joint Ministerial Decision (JMD) of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of National Economy and Finance was published in the Government Gazette (Series B) No. 6309/25.11.2025, determining the amount of the mediators’ fees payable by the parties for their participation in cadastral mediation proceedings, as well as all related details regarding the method of payment.
This regulation, for the first time, extends cadastral mediation to disputes involving Local Government Authorities, Legal Entities of Public Law and the Hellenic State, within the framework of the implementation of a strategic objective to expand mediation, through the introduction of Article 59 of Law 5197/2025, which entered into force on 16 September 2025.
