The Special Secretariat for Alternative Dispute Resolution of the Ministry of Justice welcomed a delegation from the Republic of Armenia, within the framework of the European Union technical assistance programme “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Armenia – Phase II – Complementary Support”.
The Special Secretary for Alternative Dispute Resolution, Ms Olympia Anastasopoulou, presented the work of the Special Secretariat from its establishment in March 2025 to date, highlighting the legislative, institutional, organizational and digital initiatives that have been implemented.

As part of the visit, additional presentations, thematic interventions and working discussions (workshops) were held, focusing on mediation, arbitration and the digital modernization initiatives implemented by the Special Secretariat. During these discussions, experiences, practices and approaches relating to the development and implementation of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms were presented by the scientific associates of the Special Secretariat, with the participation of Ms Vasiliki Mastrokosta, Legal Adviser to the Deputy Minister of Justice, Mr Ioannis Bougas.

The discussions underscored the importance of Alternative Dispute Resolution as a means of delivering justice that is more efficient, accessible and citizen-oriented. The visit made a substantive contribution to the dissemination of expertise and to the further strengthening of cooperation between Greece and Armenia in the field of ADR.
